The Site Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, administration, and direct support of the WSU Tri-Cities- Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) project at a designated high school. Provides services to a cohort of approximately 160-221 students, manages an operating budget, and supervise temporary/hourly staff.
The Site Manager represents the university as primary liaison to the partner schools and their communities implementing GEAR UP goals and objectives while ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, university, and grant regulations.
Duties include but are not limited to: provide direct services to students; planning, preparation and leadership participation of group activities and workshops; coordinate and communicate with school administrators, teachers, staff, parents, students, and colleges, community members, organizations, and businesses; provide local leadership in program development and evaluation.
This position will provide support to key program components, including tutor training and supervision, career exploration, and post-secondary preparation.
